- Summary
- War comes to America covers the shifting opinion in the US towards siding with the Allies against the Axis until the attack on Pearl Harbor, leading American into full scale involvement. Prelude to war was a US Army training film during WWII before theatrical release. It compares the 'free' and 'slave' worlds and the development of dictatorships in Italy, Germany and Japan. Also included are the rise of antimilitarism and isolationism in the US, plus enemy propaganda. The Nazis strike displays German's acts of diplomatic and military aggression. Learn of the Nazi's consistent underhanded violation of every promise of peace and its exploitation of their foes attempts of appeasement until the invasion of Poland in September of 1939. Divid and conquer chronicles the English and Frnech declarations of war against Germany to the conquest of France by the Nazi. Learn how a combination of innovative Nazi tactics and the acts of traitors allowed for the conquest of most of Europe
